Editorial Policy

ImpossibleShape.com publishes tool explanations, methodology notes, and short technical guides to help visitors understand what the detector can and cannot infer from a line drawing.

Content Standards

• Public copy should help visitors use or understand the tool, not expose private planning notes or internal labels.
• Numerical, technical, or standards-based claims should be traceable to public sources when possible.
• Limitations should be visible near the relevant claim, especially on methodology and verdict pages.
• Testimonials, expert reviews, credentials, testing, and certifications are not published unless they are real and documented.

Sources And Dates

Source-backed pages should show a last-reviewed date and link to relevant references. Official, standards, academic, or primary documentation is preferred for technical claims. General educational sources may be used for background terminology when clearly labeled by context.

Answer-Engine Eligibility

Pages are promoted in AI discovery files only when they have a clear visitor task, visible limits, review details, responsible operator information, and source links for factual or technical claims. Thin, duplicate, private, unreviewed, or unsupported pages should stay out of agent-facing discovery surfaces.

• Every citation-worthy guide should answer the question directly before adding background context.
• Concrete rules, thresholds, examples, failure cases, or experiments should appear where the topic supports them.
• Schema should describe only visible page content, including FAQ schema only when the FAQ is visible.
• AI-facing files should describe only public tools, public pages, and visitor-safe capabilities the site actually provides.

Generated Assets

Generated visual assets may be used for social previews or concept illustration. They must not imply real testing, professional inspection, customer results, or third-party endorsement.

Visual Requirements

Guides about impossible objects, drawing tasks, classroom activities, uploads, or geometry mechanisms should include a visible shape, diagram, worksheet visual, tool state, or comparison that helps explain the topic. Logos, generic social preview images, abstract backgrounds, and decorative graphics do not count as the main guide visual.

Required guide visuals should use descriptive alt text, stable dimensions, and a short caption or nearby explanation. A visual must not imply real-world testing, expert validation, or user-submitted evidence unless that evidence actually exists and is disclosed.

Send correction requests to hello@impossibleshape.com. Useful requests include the page URL, the disputed sentence, the proposed correction, and a source when the issue is factual or technical.

Review Cadence

Main experience, methodology, policy, and discovery pages should be reviewed after major site changes and at least twice per year. Technical source pages should be reviewed sooner when a referenced source changes or when users report a meaningful issue.
